The SL series is touted to be the world's thinnest, lightest DMR (digital mobile radio), designed to meet the communication needs of business users and executives in industries such as hospitality, services, security and airlines.
The two-way radio's slim design houses a rugged, high-resolution colour display with a built-in photo sensor that automatically detects ambient lighting and adjusts the display brightness for optimal viewing in all lighting conditions.
It features integrated Bluetooth audio for connecting audio accessories without an external adaptor. It also supports Bluetooth data connectivity to wirelessly transfer data between the radio and other devices such as barcode scanners, mobile computers or mobile printers.
The SL series also supports data applications, such as work order ticket management, e-mail and network monitoring.
In addition to the portable two-way radios, the range also includes single-unit and multi-unit chargers, and a flexible wrist strap or swivel belt clip carry holder for portability.
The SL series is expected to be available at the end of the second quarter of this year, with pricing to be announced then.
