LENOVO has launched a new addition to its Tablet family, the IdeaPad Tablet A1, positioned as a fun computer for those on-the-go.
Featuring a 7in two-point capacitive multi-touch LED screen with an integrated front and back mounted webcam, the tablet is 11.95mm thick, and weighs 400g.
The company's third Android-based Tablet offering also features an internal magnesium alloy roll-cage to protect critical components.
The A1 runs on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system powered by a 1GHz Nvidia Tegra Cortex A8 single-core processor with 16GB of internal memory storage.
It also comes preloaded with apps such as Documents to Go, eBuddy, Kindle and others.
Users can also access apps in the Google Android Market as well as the Lenovo App Shop, which offers country-specific applications and languages with applications tested specifically for Lenovo IdeaPad Tablets.
Available in black or white, the A1 is priced at RM799 and will be available by the end of this month.
