It took some time but Lenovo has finally created a tablet that is worthy of the Thinkpad name. Simply called the Thinkpad Tablet, it is the first true business-class tablet designed for the enterprise sector.
Currently, the pricing and availability of the ThinkPad Tablet is to be confirmed at a later date.
Made to be a companion computing device for business professionals on the go, the ThinkPad Tablet offers productivity, security and manageability features right out of the box. The Think Tablet is based on the Android 3.1 platform and operates on a NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core mobile processor.
Offering a 10.1" WXGA (1280x800) display weighing 0.75 kg, the ThinkPad Tablet also comes with an IPS display for a 178-degree viewing angle and scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass. It is certainly the perfect size for the professionals who want to remain connected, productive and entertained while they’re away from the office and their home.
