Acer Aspire S3 / S5 : Timeline goes Ultra

ACER has unveiled a slimmer and lighter Timeline model called the Ultra. Measuring just 20mm thin, the notebook doesn't sacrifice size for battery life as it still promises eight hours of operation on a single charge.
It will be powered by the latest Intel Core i processor and will have a dedicated graphics chip for intensive 3D gaming though the company did not disclose the exact specifications.
The notebook is also expected to have a slim DVD drive, professionally-tuned Dolby Home Theater v4 surround sound speakers, HDMI out and USB 3.0 ports.
As with its predecessors, the Ultra will also have an Instant On capability that will allow the notebook to spring back to life from standby in just 1.5 seconds.
Users will have a choice of two sizes - 14in or 15in.
Acer expects the Ultra to ship sometime this quarter and the price has yet to be announced.
