Almost 25 billion downloads, but what are the most popular iOS apps?

Since the launch of Apple's app store in June 2008, iOS users around the world have downloaded nearly 25 billion applications, a mark that is due to be passed sometime in the coming days.
Since the app store first opened for business the most popular paid app, in terms of number of downloads, is Angry Birds while the most popular free application is for the social networking site Facebook.
The game Angry Birds, in which players must launch birds out of a catapult into a structure in order to collapse it and retrieve their eggs, was by far the most popular appearing in all categories - iPhone and iPad, both paid and free.
In December 2011 Google announced the Android market had surpassed the 10 million downloads mark and was growing at the rate of one billion downloads per month.
