More mobile apps from Maxis

There are applications for entertainment, lifestyle, news, travel and navigation. Maxis Roam, for instance, is a handy app for travellers that automatically detects your current location and provides information on how to make international calls and subscribe to data services.
F1 fans will be able to take advantage of Maxis' updated F1 app for the 2012 season that will offer detailed information on all the races with stories, race results, team standings and more.
Movies is another popular app that the telco has released that allows users to purchase tickets from most major cineplexes.
Maxis has also released an app that allows its customers to check and pay their mobile bills from their smartphone via Paypal.
The telco said it has plans to extend its range of apps to other platforms like Windows Phone in the near future.
