PACKET One Networks Sdn Bhd (P1) has launched two high-speed broadband packages tailored for home and business users.

The plans - OneBiz Fibre for businesses and OnePlan for consumers - are designed to give users the best of fixed broadband delivered through fibre optics and mobile broadband through its WiMAX (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) service.

The plans are further complemented by voice calls with free bundled minutes and attractive call rates.

P1 chief executive officer, Michael Lai said the company has packed "value that matters" into these packages for businesses and consumers.

"Our plan is to help raise the productivity of business users and lower their connectivity and communication costs while our consumer plans serve those who need more speed and bandwidth," he said.

P1's OneBiz fibre packages offer speeds of up to 5Mbps (megabits per second), 8Mbps, 15Mbps and 30Mbps with unlimited data usage.

These packages come with P1's 4G mobile broadband and up to 500 minutes of free calls.

Prices for these packages range from RM199 to RM429

P1's OnePlan for consumers comes in three flavours with speeds up to 5Mbps, 10Mbps and 20Mbps and each plan has a data quota of up to 50GB, 100GB and 200GB respectively. They also come bundled with free voice calls ranging from 50 to 200 minutes.

Like the OneBiz plans, they also come with 4G mobile broadband and prices range from RM169 to RM269.
